Aarambh Nepali Library inaugurated in North Carolina, USA

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Aarambh Nepali Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Nepali literature and education, was recently inaugurated in North Carolina, USA. 

The library was established through the vision and efforts of Megha, a resident of North Carolina, with the mission to preserve and promote Nepali literature through community engagement and cultural exchange.

The library offers a diverse collection of books in both Nepali and English, available to the local community free of charge. It aims to engage people of all ages through community events, reading programs, and literary discussions, fostering a love of reading and cultural harmony. Aarambh Nepali Library also seeks to build a vibrant literary community by encouraging local writers and hosting literary events.

According to Megha, the library was established to provide easy access to Nepali and English language books for the local Nepali community. Books can also be accessed for free through the library's website, library.com.

The leadership team of the library includes Megha as President, Shib Basnet as Vice President, Ramita Chitrakar as Treasurer, and Indira Sapkota as Secretary. The board members include Ngima Pakhrin, with Jeetman Basnet, Dr. Chandra Giri, Babita Basnet, Prem Sapkota, Phoolman Bal, and Ram Sundar Hada serving as advisors.
